The operating environment
A distribution centre depends on the controlled movement of people, vehicles and goods. Employees, visitors, contractors and deliveries need to enter and move around the site while security teams maintain oversight of access, hazards and incidents.
Servis works alongside Lidl's operational team, connecting activity at the gate with control-room monitoring, site response and traffic coordination.

One coordinated security operation
- Controlled access. Gate-hut personnel check identification and verify employees, visitors and contractors against site requirements.
- Monitoring and response. On-site CCTV and alarm monitoring help identify hazards and incidents, supported by a dedicated first-response capability and agreed escalation.
- Traffic coordination. Route planning and traffic management support the movement of deliveries, contractors, employees and vehicles. ANPR supports vehicle identification and tracking.
